Description

Medical gas alarm panel electromechanical relay-type, designed to detect low pressure events in medical gases and vacuum levels in real time; Available exclusively in a surface-mounted wall cabinet, includes:

  •  Individual medical gas and vacuum modules with capacity for 1 up to 8 modules per alarm system
  • Electromechanical relay system (dry contacts)
  • Real-time visual and audible signaling for alarm events
  • Exclusively available in cabinet for wall-mounted installation
  • Can comply with NFPA 99 when installed with pressure switches featuring dual set points (for high and low pressure)

🔧 Cabinet
  • Manufactured from special-extrusion aluminum profiles, alloy 6063, temper 5
  • Finished with baked electrostatic paint
  • Installation: surface-mounted on wall only

🔔 Electromechanical Relay-Type Alarm (Number of Gases)
  • Modules available for 1 to 8 medical gases per cabinet

💡 Visual and Audible Indicators
  • High-visibility green LED for normal status (per gas module)
  • Flashing red LED for low pressure events (per gas module)
  • Green LED indicating system is energized 110–220 VAC (for the full zone or area alarm)
  • Audible buzzer for alarm events (cancelable only on-site)

🚨 Alarm Events
  • Real-time detection of low pressure and vacuum level (per gas and vacuum module)

🔌 Communications
  • One relay port (dry contact) per alarm unit

🎛️ Controls
  • Button to mute alarm sound (automatic reset after 1 hour if pressure is not normalized)
  • System test button

  • REMOTE dry-contact relay switch for positive pressure, per alarm signal of each gas module (high and low pressure), connected to the medical gas network – NOT INCLUDED
  • REMOTE dry-contact relay switch for negative pressure/vacuum alarm signal, connected to the surgical medical vacuum system – NOT INCLUDED
  • DISS DEMAND CGA V-5 check valve installed in the piping
  • Flush-mounted box for electrical and data connections
  • For networked systems: Belden STP cable #8461ZH or #8208 for additional relay port (point-to-point connection, no splices for relay system)
  • Power supply: 110–220 V, 50–60 Hz

  • Voltage fluctuations in the electrical supply
  • Use of emergency power generators as the main power source
  • Unstable or intermittent electrical supply
  • Frequent power losses triggering emergency power system repeatedly
