Description

Automatic cylinder center for laboratory use (Manifold), for automatic exchange of benches, complies with ASTM B819 (clean for use with oxygen).

Cabinet:

  • Indoor

Control system:

  • Operated by a high speed electronic PCB system with 7" LCD color display, touch screen control.
  • Electric valve 110-220 vac normally open.
  • Check valves
  • 4-20Map high and low pressure transducers

Graphics:

  • Display of high and low pressure readings for the primary and secondary cylinder banks in real time.
  • Display of high and low pressure readings for the output supply line in real time.
  • pressure units.
  • Alarm signals.

Signals (Alarms):

  • Low delivery pressure alarm.
  • Alarm header empty.
  • Reserve alarm in use.
  • High pressure alarm (when it is above 20% of the nominal pressure).
  • Leakage alarm (when a pressure drop of 25% is detected in the bench designated as reserve or standby).

Derivation System (By Pass):

  • System of 2 final line regulators for low pressure with manual isolation of ball valves made of stainless steel (one in use and the other in reserve).
  • Overpressure and vent valve system:
  • Protection system interconnected with a circuit of relief valves and facing outside the cabinet of the supply center (manifold).

Emergency Ports:

  • Located after end line regulators and for low pressure only.
  • Coupling with DISS CGA V-5 input.

Pressure gauges:

  • Analog type for high and low pressure stages.

Comunication system:

  • Relay connections (dry contact) for monitoring each alarm for remote connection with master alarm panels, as well as the integration of a remote management and surveillance system BMS (Building Management System) common language based on relay switching.
  • Two-wire Modbus RTU RS485 communication connection in slave mode for monitoring pressures in PSI and alarm states from a BMS (Building Management System), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system or any equipment configured as master.
  • Button for choosing the main header of use

Warning:

  • Do not use Oil and its Derivatives.
  • Operation and maintenance personnel must be certified for the safe operation of the equipment.
  • The Quality and Purity Degree of the Gases as well as the state of the containers and their connections will always be the responsibility of their supplier.

Specifications

Cylinder Headers:
  • Modular assembly.
  • Manufactured in extruded red brass tube, special SPS 23000 alloy, drawn H58 tempera, meets ASTM B-43-98, ASTM B-819 (clean for use with oxygen) and for working pressure of 3,000 PSI.
  • Brass cylinder connection valves CGA code with automatic anti-return date (verify).
  • A manual master valve to control the opening and timing of the primary and secondary bank.
Cylinder pigtails:
  • Oxygen: flexible type of copper tube connection CGA 540.
  • Other Non-Corrosive Gases: Flexible hose in PTEF lined with stainless steel mesh and life line, in CGA connection for the specific gas.
Available for:
  • Only use high pressure gas cylinders.
Available for the following gases:
  • oxygen
  • medical and industrial air
  • Nitrous oxide
  • Nitrogen
  • Carbon dioxide
  • Helium argonium
Require:
  • Power source 100-220 V 50-60 Htz.
Wire type network system connection:
  • Belden STP (shielded locked pair) #8461ZH or #8208.
Equipment that must be avoided:
  • Voltage variations in the electrical supply.
  • Power supply with emergency plants.
  • Variable or intermittent power supply (energy is lost and recovered very frequently in a short period of time).
  • Continuous absence and intermittence of electrical power supply (when the supply is interrupted and the emergency center enters repeatedly).
Installation recommendations:
  • Check the connection of the physical grounding of the equipment (to protect the equipment against unwanted discharges).
  • Install a system against voltage variations and electrical energy backup (No-Break).
  • Install a system with a surge suppressor (to protect the equipment against variations and discharges of energy).
